Hectic Times
It's been a while since I last blogged, my apologies to my readers. The last few months have been extremely hectic. I've been working on trying to raise funds to work on a few projects, submit works to festivals/competitions, and save back to return to Chicago. Needless to say, it's been quite difficult. Not only am I dealing with the above but... I am also newly single again. I don't mind it really. I rather be single at this stage in my life than, well, be held down by a significant other.
Musically, I am still rather productive. I am currently working on a series of miniatures to be recorded by musicians and set to videos that portray the thoughts behind the music. I am also working on a sonata-esque piece for piano entitled 'Illusions', a choral work, and potentially the start of an opera! All of the above are works that I will be submitting to various opportunities/competitions/festivals. Hopefully, just hopefully, I can get something performed!
I hope all my readers are doing good. I'd still love to hear feedback from everyone. Perhaps let me know what you think of my quaint blog here?
